DISCHARGEYou will be discharged from the Pyramid when you are medically fit and ready, and with the approval of your doctor. For stays of two or more nights, discharge is usually before lunch; for stays of one night, discharge will be 24 hours after admission. Arranging your discharge You will have an in-depth discharge visit from your doctor before you leave. Your personal nurse will be happy to help you pack your belongings and accompany you to the reception area, or to the exit or the car park if you would prefer to leave directly from your room. In this case you will not need to complete any further formalities on your exit and we will invoice you for any extras (drinks, visitors' meals, telephone calls). Post-operative care You are welcome to contact us or your doctor at any time, if any problems or questions arise after you leave. You can also come in and see us in person at the Pyramid at any time. Would you like further care in your own home or post-operative treatment in an external rehabilitation centre or a health resort? We will gladly help you organise this form of care and will assist wherever possible. We hope that you will take home pleasant memories of your stay at the Pyramid.
